IC Cubed has been providing quality K9 equipment to law enforcement agencies since 1995. In an effort to meet the unique needs of different agencies, we have developed the Keep Alive high temperature reporting system.

The Keep Alive is designed to allow the vehicle’s engine and air conditioner to continue to run while the ignition key is removed from the ignition cylinder. Further, the Keep Alive will report to the handler if the interior temperature exceeds the user programmable limit. For safety, the system will deactivate the engine and air conditioner if the break pedal is pressed.

Our kit contains all the components necessary to keep your engine running and report high temperature. Our high temperature reporting pager will notify the handler up to 1 mile away if the temperature inside the vehicle climbs to a dangerous level. Because this pager constantly updates with the vehicle, the pocket pager will generate an alert if the handler travels beyond the range of reception. The pager can be set for audible alert or vibrate. . We use a momentary push button switch that activates our module and will not accidentally be switched off. Because of our experience with the Chilly Dog system, we offer the technical assistance that is needed to connect our system to the proper circuits on your vehicle.

Typically you would require two separate systems from two different manufactures to achieve the same results. One, an engine run system that is normally toggle switch activated to keep the engine running, and two, a temperature sensor that triggers a remote pager that does not have out of range technology.

FLR:
Our Flashing Relay option provides an economical and effective way to alert when the cabin temperature climbs to dangerous levels. This unit is easy to install and very reliable.

WDM:
Our window drop module “WDM” can roll down 2 windows when the High temperature is reached.
